Leth"al (lĕth"ăl), n.
[Lauric + ether + alcohol.] (Chem.)
One of the higher alcohols of the paraffine series obtained from
spermaceti as a white crystalline solid. It is so called because it
occurs in the ethereal salt of lauric acid.
