way, fr. the root of ire to go. Cf. Errant,
Itinerant, Issue.] (O. Eng. Law) A journey
in circuit of certain judges called justices in eyre (or in
itinere).
☞ They were itinerant judges, who rode the circuit, holding
courts in the different counties.
